这是非常好的一次体验。我从携程上看到这个芭提雅潜水中心的介绍，然后谷歌搜到了它的地址和网址，看了它的介绍，觉得非常专业，而且价格也很合理，对于无证潜水只需要4000泰铢，两次，上午下午各一次，午餐在船上吃。比通过携程或其他应用上的代理预定都要便宜。可以网上预定，也可以到店预定。我不是很放心网上预定，周六阁兰岛的行程结束后就跑到店里，填了一堆表格，交了钱预定第二天的潜水。第二天早上有车专门接我们到潜水中心，会和了其他潜水者后往南开车约一小时来到码头，然后坐船去潜水点。报这个团的好处是，同团的人几乎是来自世界各地的，大多数人有证，我们有四个人无证，还有人参加浮潜。对于我们几个无证的，他们首席教练Dan亲自教授，他控制语速，讲解清晰，确保我们都听得懂。对了，如果不懂英语，他们是有中文教练同行的。培训后，Dan带我们下水，在水下对我们非常照顾，在水下带领我们寻找有趣的东西。然后也给我们拍了很多照片和视频。对了，这个是要500泰铢的，但是，谁不想有一些在水里的照片呢？第一次潜到5米左右，我看到一些珊瑚礁，还有围着珊瑚礁活动的小鱼，还看到一条大鱼趴在海底，总体感觉不错。不过5米左右的海底，还是白沙比较多。下午的第二次潜水我没参加，因为我下晕船晕的厉害。但是我朋友下到了10米左右，看到了更多的珊瑚礁，更多的鱼，非常漂亮，还看到了一米多的大海龟，不过躲进了珊瑚礁，只露出半个身体在外面。Dan和他的团队，非常幽默，非常耐心，给我们带来非常有趣的一次体验。提醒一下，要准备好晕船药，因为当船停在水上的时候，由于海水的冲击，是一直摇晃的，更容易晕船。总的来说，这是非常棒的一次行程，下次会带家人来体验。
This is a very good experience. I saw the introduction of this Pattaya Diving Center from Ctrip, and then searched its address and website on Google. After reading its introduction, I thought it was very professional and the price was very reasonable. It only costs 4,000 baht for unlicensed diving. Two dives, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with lunch on the boat. It’s cheaper than booking through agents on Ctrip or other apps. You can book in their official website or in-store. I wasn’t very confident about booking online. After my trip to Gland Island on Saturday, I ran to the store, filled out a bunch of forms, and paid to book diving for the next day. The next morning, a car picked us up from the hotel to the diving center. After meeting other divers, we drove south for about an hour to the pier, and then took a boat to the diving site. The advantage of joining this group is that the people in the group are from all over the world, and a lot of them have certificates. Four of us did not have certificates. There are also a few guests only participated in snorkeling. For those of us who are unlicensed, Dan, the chief instructor, provided training to us by himself. He controls the speed of speech and explains clearly to ensure that we all understand. By the way, if you don’t understand English, they will be accompanied by a Chinese coach. After the training, Dan took us into the water, took great care of us underwater, and led us to find interesting things underwater. Then he also took a lot of photos and videos for us. By the way, this costs 500 baht, but who doesn’t want to have some photos of themselves in the water? The first time we dived to about 5 meters, I saw some coral reefs and small fish moving around the coral reefs. I also saw a big fish lying on the bottom of the sea. Overall, I felt good. However, the bottom of the seabed, which is about 5 meters away, most of it is white sand. I skipped the second dive in the afternoon because i got sea sick. But my friend went down to about 10 meters. He saw more coral reefs and more fish, which were very beautiful. He also saw a large sea turtle that was over one meter long, but it hid in the coral reef and only half of its body was exposed. Dan and his team were very humorous and patient and gave us a very interesting experience. As a reminder, be prepared with seasickness medicine, because when the boat is parked on the water, it keeps shaking due to the impact of sea water, making it easier to get seasick. Overall, this was a great trip and I will bring my family to experience it next time.

Dan was an excellent scuba diver instructor! I did my PADI open water certificate with him. Dan is a great teacher - he explains everything you need to know clearly and efficiently, and you can tell he is experienced by his teaching style. He adjusts to the needs of individual group members well. As a person, Dan is personable, friendly and easy going. I had a good laugh with Dan throughout the course and this made for a really enjoyable experience. On the last day of the course he took his underwater camera and sent us back edited pictures from the dive! All of the dives were fun and we even saw a turtle! I will be coming back for more dives with Dan and I would definitely recommend him as a diving instructor!

My son and I had a great dive. We needed a refresher and everything was explained clearly from the setting up of the equipment to the dives themselves. We felt very confident in the professionalism of our instructor. He had great photographic equipment and we have some great video and still images of our dive. A genuinely nice guy highly recommended.

Dan was absolutely amazing !
A wonderful instructor to have for your first dive ever. His instructions were crystal clear and he made sure everything went right while the dive happened. Even when I panicked during my first dive Dan made sure I relaxed and that I remembered to breathe through the mouth. Just in the second dive I felt way more confident and it went smoothly. Dan the Man was just amazing. I am not a swimmer yet he gave me the confidence to jump in the ocean and complete my 6mtr dive. The experience was so good that I opted for the second dive of 12mtr. Was a great time and Dan and the crew were super helpful. It was my 2nd time going scuba diving so of course I'm a bit nervous about breathing properly, regulating the ear pressure, etc, and Dan and the team did a great job helping to educate us all and making sure we had a safe, fun time! Dan the man is the scuba instructor to go with. He explains really well, and makes sure the divers are all calm under the water and was a big part of our lifetime-to-be-remembered experience.

Dan is a good and professional instructor. He also good at taking underwater photos. Thanks Dan :) Safety is the first priority.... Dan always do and cross check around the diver. I really enjoy to dive with him. I hope one day when i get an advance open water license, I'll be able to dive deeper with him.

Dan the man is one of the most professional and egoless dive instructors. What I find is that he is able to explain diving subject matter clearly, and it is easily understood. Prior to diving with him I had concerns and my ability to advance to open water advanced diving. Dan will always be professional and have your safety as the top priority. He also genuinely likes teaching diving. If you are advanced, he will advance you further. The water is his element.

Dan the man was our instructor on my first dive ever during Chinese New Year. I'm extremely scared of being under water and he was great at keeping us all well informed and calm. He was also great at helping me equalize my ears every 2 minutes. I don't think any other instructor could have made it a more enjoyable experience. Thank you Dan, also for the amazing pictures! I did a refresher dive with Dan the man. He was the best, I’ve never had someone explain all the basics so well before, he is amazing made me feel very comfortable and with no doubt has mad me a more confident and better dive. I can’t wait to get back to Pattaya and go diving with him again

Being a free diver at home was a challenge for me first time scuba diving with all the heavy equipment and actually breathing under water. Dan Johnson talked me through everything and made me feel safe and confident. He’s a total professional and his one to one skills are superb in and out of the water. His photos and videos are top class and is a must especially for you first dive. Best experience Iv had on my holiday. Awesome experience while I was driving with Dan, he is the man, excellent work with the video and the pictures taken by him. The way he has guided me while I was driving was simply out of this world. We did two dives , one was at suddadib wreck and the other was at Hardeep both site's were located at samae San. looking forward to dive with him again. I had two try diving on Nov 15th 2019 with my kids. It was operated by seafari diving club. My instructor was Dan Johnson who was very careful about taking care of my kids’ status under the sea. And he was skillfull enough to bring us every side of diving spot. My kids were 10 and 13 years old but they really enjoyed divings without any discomfort. He made our diving comfortable with slow descending and checking every part of dangers that might happen. If you want to go diving with your kids, I would definitely recommend Dan Johnson as your instructor !

Dan is the man! We were a group of 7, all beginners. Had no clue about diving. He literally handheld us through it all. Great briefing, great practicing in the water and then the dive was just phenomenal. He is meticulous, takes zero risks and eases you into it. Like he says: all we do is just breathe & enjoy the flora & fauna under the water while he does all the hard work. 5stars. If you in Pattaya & want to experience scuba diving, dan is the man to go to.

I was lucky enough to have Dan as my instructor, and considering I hadn't done a scuba dive in over ten years, he made me feel so at ease and confident from the get-go. He was patient in going through everything with us, and was even happy to take photos (for only 500baht) so I could have some stunning reminders of this gorgeous dive.

We we're lucky enough to see (and swim alongside -- but obviously not touch!) a pair of turtles, which was magical, and I saw a jellyfish in the reef. So that was really cool. But aside from the more novel sights, the sight of the tiny fish schooling around us was breathtaking.

I would recommend this experience to anyone, and I really hope in the future I'll be able to come back and do it again.

Other information:
The water here isn't (apparently) as clear to see through as some places people dive, as there is a lot of food for all the species in the water and so I'd say visibility is about three or four metres.

Seafari were amazing in how they went through everything, which made me feel very safe -- definitely a plus when it comes to an activity like this!

The food provided was absolutely delicious. I was expecting sandwiches but it was actually lovely, hot Thai food which was so good I found myself going up for seconds!

I don't have much experience with the other instructors, but can say with confidence that if Dan is anything to go by, this diving school provides a very professional and wonderful place to learn to dive.

Communication was good, there was someone in touch with me confirming pick up details etc. Gave me confidence before I had even met them.

They do not allow you to touch anything, which shows they are a responsible business in my opinion, safeguarding the environment and creatures above all else.

Amazing day with Dan. I never expected it to be so good diving out of Pattaya. Its as good as anything I have seen in Thailand for sure. Dan was a brilliant guide we did a couple of open water dives and saw amazing things! Highly impressed, Will
